One of the first things we’ll do is calculate the heat gain of your house. We base this on your insulation, the number and placement of any doors, windows or vents and so on.

Once we know what amount of airflow is required to cool the house, we can select a unit which is:

• The optimum physical size
• As efficient as possible
• In line with your budget

It should go without saying that we’ll only install an air con unit which you personally like and are happy to have in your home!
Other installers might cast their keen, knowing eyes over the property and tell you – based on their vast experience – what kind of system you need. That’s not Piper Plumbing’s way; we use calculations, real expertise and your opinion to deliver the perfect unit.

Even the most advanced, diamond-plated air conditioning units make some amount of noise. We’ll work with you to find which room, hallway or closet is best-suited to housing your new unit. Our installations aren’t going to give in after a few days, either, so we’ll be sure to pick a place you’ll be happy with for a long time!

The key to any successful air con system is not only fitting the right machine, but also circulating that air efficiently through your home.

If you use a forced-air furnace for heating, then we can use or repurpose your existing air ducts to carry cool air during the summer – it will cause minimal or zero stress in the house, and we’re old hands at this kind of work.

For those who don’t have any air ducts, we can consider a no-duct solution or add them in for you – it’s all part of our process and we’ll discuss it all with you before moving forward.
